Please Help!!!!!! Confirm that f and g are inverses by showing that f(g(x)) = x and g(f(x)) = x. f(x) = x-7/x+3 and g(x) = -3x-7/x-1

Oh gees. Didn't we do this problem a few days ago?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

...no i dont think so

OpenStudy (mertsj):

Take the function f and replace every x with the function g. Then simplify and you should get x.

OpenStudy (mertsj):

That shows that they are inverse functions because the f(g(x))=g(f(x))=x
