Need Help with an Equation: The problem will be attached in a file n.n A. Find the perimeter B. Find the area.

Okay well we know the perimeter is just the sum of all the sides right? So add all the sides...including the 2 that arent given to you...which come to 6 and 4 So add 6+4+4+8+8+2 = 32 for the area...we see that this looks very similar to two rectangles that are connected right? Area of a rectangle is L times W right? The bottom rectangle is of length 8 and width 4..so 32. The top rectangle is of length 2 and of width 4...so thats 8 Now just add 32 and 8 to get the area = 40
