Help!!! I have no idea where to begin. 1) Give all intervals where f (x) < 0 and all intervals where f(x) > 0. 2) Give all intervals where f ' (x) < 0 and all intervals where f ' (x) > 0. 3) Give all intervals where f '' (x) < 0 and all intervals where f '' (x) > 0. 4) Give the location of all points of discontinuity. 5) Give the location of all points of non-differentiability.

Is 1 a problem? Remember how f'(x) relates to the slope of the curve and how f''(x) relates to the concavity. A function is discontinuous at a point if the at that point left handed limit does not equal the right handed limit. Similarly for non-differentiability the left handed derivative and right handed derivative are now equal.

yes each number 1-5 is a question

ok so then th 1. interval question would he answer be something like 0,1 and 0,-5

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and 0,1 and 0,3
