OH, however if it is a viscous solid for example it is kind of solid and liquid...like honey for example this would be and example of number 1. has a fixed volume but does not take the shape of its container. A liquid would be number 2

A modern definition of solids is: a substance which have it's particles disposed on a regular and ordened internal arrangement. Obs.: This definition excludes amorphous solids, which are those one that looks like a solid, but doesn't have sa crystaline faces and it's internal structure isn't regular. P.S.: Sorry about my english, i'm Brazilian so... I'm still learning it.
