if a = 6 and b=9 of a triangle.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

set up the problem using the Pythagorean Theorem solve for c.

OpenStudy (johnweldon1993):

I suppose you want C? You do A² + b² to find c² so c is √A² + B² This is called the pythagorean theorem

OpenStudy (anonymous):

find the exact length of c in simplified radical form

OpenStudy (johnweldon1993):

So you have √(6² + 9²) √36+81) √117 is 10.82 but simplified radical form is √117

OpenStudy (anonymous):

find c to the nearest hundredth

OpenStudy (johnweldon1993):

That would be the 10.82 that i put earlier :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okay thanks and sorry

OpenStudy (johnweldon1993):

Not a problem, just wanted to make sure I was clear. Lemme know if you need help with anything else :)
