jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

wait what about the last one? we just did only one entry of the 2x2 answer matrix

OpenStudy (anonymous):

we will go back to that question later but we must continue with this question :p

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

alright

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay so how do i find this @jim_thompson5910

OpenStudy (anonymous):

if the number of columns of the first is equal to the number of rows of the second , multiplication is possible .. the resultant will have the other two values as its dimensions

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so it is possible?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

3 X (1 and 1) X 4 will have a resulting dimension of 3 X 4

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

yes because the number of columns in matrix A is the same as the number of rows in matrix B

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay so AB is 3 X 4?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes :)

thank you!
