Kevin and Conner tracked their exercise last week. Kevin ran 15 laps around the school track, 10 laps around his neighborhood, and 2 miles on the treadmill. Conner ran 10 laps around the school track and 2 miles on the treadmill. Write and simplify an expression for the total combined distance that Kevin and Conner ran. Show your work. Use t for the distance in laps around their school track and n for the distance in laps around Kevin’s neighborhood.

ok
Okay so what do we have so far? For kevin what do we know... "Kevin ran 15 laps around the school track, 10 laps around his neighborhood, and 2 miles on the treadmill." And for conner "Conner ran 10 laps around the school track and 2 miles on the treadmill" and we want " Write and simplify an expression for the total combined distance that Kevin and Conner ran. Show your work. Use t for the distance in laps around their school track and n for the distance in laps around Kevin’s neighborhood." Okay well for the school track....together....they ran a total of 25 laps......for the neighboorhood....together....they ran 10 laps....and for the treadmill...they ran together....4 miles. So they ran 25t laps around the school....and 10n for the neigboorhood...I guess they dont want the treadmill in the equation So kevin = 15t + 10n conner = 10t + 0n so when added together 25t + 10n
