The problem asks to find the area inside the cardioid r = 1 + cos theta. Can anyone tell me what each of these trig parts equal (3/4(2pie)) + sin(2pie) + 1/8(sin(2pie)) ? The solution is 3/2 pie.

is it 3/4cos theta or is it 3/4sin theta??

it's just 3/4 theta by itself ... i just don't understand how they arrive at 3/2 pie...
