Adding a catalyst to a reaction will increase the rate of the reaction. The 'explain your prediction' part seems a bit silly. After all, the problem states that a catalyst is added and we know, by definition, that a catalyst increases the rate of the reaction. Adding a catalyst that did nothing would seem a bit silly.
