You see,
they both have something call PEPTIDOGLYCAN.

EUBACTERIA have peptidoglycan.
ARCHAEBACTERIA DO NOT have peptidoglycan.

That leads us to believe that archaebacteria are NEITHER gram positive, NOR gram negative.
