sqrt(t^4 + 4t^2 + 4) I know this equals (t^2 + 2) Seems simple enough but I can't figure out why.

OpenStudy (mertsj):

\[t^4+4t^2+4=(t^2+2)^2\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

how do I know (t^2 + 2) is a factor of (t^4 + 4t^2 + 4) ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

can you show some middle steps please?
