Any idea about how can I write a program in MATLAB to do this problem?

I don't remember the commands, but It was something like

F=inline( function','x','y')
then you get 
F = 
F(x,y)= (your function)
or something like that.
I'm sure you can search your schools Math lab site for specific commands.
