OpenStudy (bbb911):

multiply mixed numbers 4 2/7 X 13/10

OpenStudy (anonymous):

change the mixed number 4 2/7 to an improper fraction which will be 30/7

OpenStudy (anonymous):

then multiply 30/7 by 13/10

OpenStudy (bbb911):

yea i got that then the other one i changed 1 3/10 to 13/10

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok and when you multiply the two the 10 will cancel with 30 and the new equation would be 3/7 x 13/1 and the answer would be 39/7 or 5 4/7

OpenStudy (bbb911):

yes i did that where i stopped at 39/ 7 . and to get 39/7 you then divide those two to get 5/47 right?

OpenStudy (bbb911):

5 4/7

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yup

OpenStudy (bbb911):
