If parathyroid gland is removed, what would happen to the hormone regulation in thyroid gland? What is the hormone?

Thyroid C-cells will stop secreting Calcitonin. Because it required to inhibit para-thyroid hormone secretion which will in turn inhibit calcium concentration in tissues. When there is no para-thyroid hormone there is no scope for Calcitonin.
