What are the units for atomic weight? For example: "Calculate the mass of 5.0 moles of water. When I add up the 2 hydrogens and the 1 oxygen, what unit would I use after the 2.01588 and the 15.9994? Also, what would be the unit for my answer the mass? Would it be grams H2O or g/mol? Something else?

atomic mass units.

But then when it says to calculate the mass of 5 moles of water, you must know the definition of mole: a mole is the atomic weight IN GRAMS. So 5 moles of water = 90 grams
