I think U Substituion is in order of u=x^18 but i'm not sure how they expect me to just immediately see to use that method...any help?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

just saw it!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The integral is \[\int 18x^7e^{-x^{18}} dx\] Put \[x^{18}=u\] What would you get for du?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Differentiate both sides you'd get something of the form \[.....dx=du\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ah thanks frge...i just realized how to do it before you typed in...thank you though for the help!
