what is tan 60?
@pooja195
really?
@satellite73 theres the pic
look at the unit circle on the last page of the attached cheat sheet find \(60\) degrees. the first coordinate on the unit circle is cosine the second is sine the ratio of sine to cosine is tangent
opp side/adj side
you might want to look at khan academy videos on trigonometry if you are having trouble with these topics.
what wll that be ?
@satellite73 can I know on what contect you speak "really ? " its interesting :)
*context
you need this unit circle more or less in your head, unless you are allowed a cheat sheet in the exams, in which case print this one out and use it
tan 60 = sqrt(3)/1 = sqrt(3)
@pooja195 dont give away the answer please
so F is the answer?
instead help himt o get to it :) thats learning
if you do not memorize these, then your best bet is to take a calculator, put it in degree mode, and press the buttons
that method, if you are allowed to use it, always works http://www.wolframalpha.com/input/?i=tan%2860%29
^^ :)
