HELP NEEDED!! MEDALS REWARDED!!!
ok
I think it's easy but I need steps!!!
cmon i dont have ms word
My bad
a bcz it seems the closest
A
@ghazi I need your help!
\[3\frac{ 3 }{ 8 }=\frac{ 8*3+3 }{ 8 }=\frac{ 27 }{ 8 }\]
similarly for \[3\frac{ 2 }{ 9 }=\frac{ 9*3+2 }{ 9 }=\frac{ 27+2 }{ 9 }=\frac{ 29 }{ 9 }\]
now you need to simplify these and then you can match with solution :)
\[\frac{ 27 }{ 8 }+\frac{ 29 }{ 9 }=\frac{ 475 }{ 72 }=6.6\]
Thanks for the help! So which of them is the answer though? a b c or d?
\[3\frac{ 1 }{ 2 }=\frac{ 7 }{ 2 },3\frac{ 2 }{ 9 }=\frac{ 29 }{ 9 }\]
and if you will simplify A , that is the answer
now let me tell you the trick :D
haha thx for explanation...a person can visually get the answer
@Best_Mathematician i am sure person can get visually but i am pretty sure they cant get it innate LOL
haha ikr
if you see \[3\frac{ 3 }{ 8 }\] just pull out 3/8 and it is = 0.375 so you can write it 3.375 and similarly if you pull out 2/9 from 3 2/9 so 2/9= 0.22 you can say 3.22 now add both of them so 3.75+3.22= 6.97 now if you look at the option A 1/2=0.5 so you can write 3.5 and 1/3= 0.333 so it will be 3.333 now add both of them which is equal to 3.833 approximately same as that of question
Not bad! All I need is the steps thanks again genius :)
oh i am not a genius :D lol you are welcome :)
