a store makes a profit of 25$ on each graphing calculator it sells. how many calculators must the store sell to make a profit of at least $275? follow this ex.: x>25

OpenStudy (johnweldon1993):

okay...it sells x number of calculators....at $25 a piece right? this can be written as 25x meaning 25 times however many calculators they sell if they want a profit of at LEAST $275 .... we can set this equation...to be greater than or equal to 275 \[25x \ge 275\] greater than or equal to 275..because they want at least that right? so they want either 275...or above...so greater that or equal to now solve for x
