here to help :)
I'm gonna use this space, to continue what we were talking about, over messaging. We were trying to say this: "Learning Spanish will help me." And what I want to show you, specifically, is how to conjugate verbs into the FUTURE tense. It's very easy. Very easy. ~~~~~~~~ All verbs in the FUTURE tense start with the word "WILL." For example: "I WILL eat." "You WILL drink." "He WILL drive." Get it? ~~~~~~~~~ Let's start with the verb AYUDAR, and go about this, step by step. ~~~~~~~~ Step 1: Look at the infinitive verb. Ours is AYUDAR (to help). ~~~~~~~~~~ Step 2: Add an ending onto the verb. The new ending depends on how you want to say it. Here's a list of all the new future-tense forms of AYUDAR, that we could have: (Yo) Ayudaré --- I will help (Tú) Ayudarás --- You will help (Él/Ella/Usted) Ayudará --- He/She/It will help (Nosotros) Ayudaremos --- We will help (Ellos/Ellas/Ustedes) Ayudarán --- They will help ~~~~~~~~~~~~ We're done. You see? It's really easy. All we had to do was take the INFINITIVE VERB, AYUDAR, and add a new ending onto the end of it. By adding on different endings, we can change the meaning of the verb. For example, take a look at the list I gave you. "Ayudaré" means "I will help." But "ayudarás" means "YOU will help." The new endings that we could have added were.... é ás á emos án ~~~~~~~~~~~ Let's look at the sentence we wanted to make, again: "Learning Spanish will help me." We can start with "El aprendizaje del español...." (Learning Spanish....) And now we say...."WILL HELP me." "me ayudará." "El aprendizaje del español me ayudará." "Learning Spanish will help me." ~~~~~~~~~ Let's run through a quick future-tense exercise. How would we say... "I will eat the apple"? "Comer" means "to eat." "La manzana" is "the apple." ~~~~~~~~~~~ If you still have any questions about spanish future tense, please feel free to ask.
yeah i see :)
Alright. So, did you read the last part of my explanation? It's just to make sure that you understand how to make the future tense. Can you say "I will eat the apple" in Spanish?
