Nitrogen dioxide can be formed from dinitrogen and dioxygen in the following reaction: N2(g) + 2 O2(g) 2 NO2(g); ΔH = 68 kJ What is ΔH if two moles of NO2 react to form dinitrogen and dioxygen? The answer is not 68 or 136. I thought it was 68 because 2 mol NO2 x 68 kJ/2 mol NO2 = 68 kJ But that is incorrect.
