how would i factor x^2+x+1 or can it not be factored?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it depends on what kinda value u wanna find...real numbers rational, etc

OpenStudy (raden):

it cant be factored

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it can be factored for calculus students....wht level of math u taking

OpenStudy (anonymous):

its in a partial fraction problem. its originally x(x^2+x+1) and im trying to break it up to make it into partial fractions

OpenStudy (raden):

just check the value of discriminant (D) of quadratic equation with D=b^2-4ac if D<0, obviously it is cant be factored

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well, partial factions or not, since i did something im posting it
