can you multiply a 3x 3 matrix and a 3 x 2 matrix? How? I understand how to multiply (for example) a 3 x 2 and a 2 x3.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yup

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the number of columns (say) is A is 3 and in B is 2. The rows are the same

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oops neglect my previous post and follow this one to be compatible for multiplication the number of columns of the first matrix must be equal to the number of the rows in the second matrix

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the number of columns (say) is A is 3 and that rows in B is also 3 hence finding AXB is possible
