A man in Alaska claimed that he was cheated when he bought 40.0 L of Hydrogen gas from a warehouse in Florida and only received 39.67 L. As the lawyer for the chemical warehouse, what is your defense? Justify your answer with Gas Laws
@ghazi
Probably has something to do with a lower temperature means the volume of the gas is less. What do you think? and isn't this a question for the chemistry section?
When Volume goes DOWN Temperature and Pressure go UP... but temp. from florida to alaska drops..so im not sure how this works out
nevermind..that's wrong
Volume DOWN Temperature DOWN Pressure UP going from Alaska to Florida, temperature drops, causing an increase in pressure which decreases the volume (Charles' Law: temperature and volume are directly related; one goes down, so does the other).
