OpenStudy (ryan123345):
what do they have in common?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
2 - 2d
OpenStudy (johnweldon1993):
meaning...what can you take out of both sides? are both 6 and 9 divisable by 3?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
no idea
OpenStudy (johnweldon1993):
can 3 go into both 6 and 9 evenly? yes they can
so we can factor a 3 out.....
is there at least 1 "u" in each side?

OpenStudy (johnweldon1993):
i meant "c" sorry
OpenStudy (johnweldon1993):
there is at least 1 "c" in each side....there is at least 1 "d" in each side...so all can be factored out (moved out of the parenthesis)
so we have
3cd(3c²d - 2d²)
huh...look we still have at least 1 "d" in each side ...so we can factor out another "d"
3cd²(3c² - 2d)
which option choice is that?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
ima go with the last one
OpenStudy (johnweldon1993):
and you are correct :)
but do you understand it?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
i think so.
