Find the slope of a line that passes through the points (4, 5) and (4, –6).

hartnn (hartnn):

same formula : The slope of the line through points (x1,y1) and (x2,y2) is given by : \(\huge m=\frac{y_1-y_2}{x_1-x_2}\) now, just put the values and find m.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the m cannot define x = 4

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Is the answer no slope?

hartnn (hartnn):

yeah, because the denominator comes out to be 0 the slope is infinite or undefined or no slope.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thank you!

hartnn (hartnn):

welcome ^_^
