A large number of children were surveyed. The table below shows the distribution of the time they spent watching TV in the week before the survey. Intervals include the left endpoint but not the right. You can assume that the times are uniformly distributed within each interval. The table is used to draw a histogram of the distribution.

you will need to find the class centre before drawing the histogram.. to do this add the limits for the 1st class (0 + 4)/2 = 2 so for the 0-4 class you need a centre or 2 next class (4 + 8)/2 = 6 repeat the process of finding the class centre for each class... next drawing the histogram it depends where you are from... the rule I use is leave 1/2 a column gap between the 1st column and the vertical axis. so you have |dw:1363248245435:dw| hope this helps
