I have to write a research paper and the topic has to be a "literary topic". Can someone please tell me what this means and maybe a good example of something I could do?

An example of a literary topic is that it explores the layers of the author's work. Lets say I read The Hunger Games book and i decided to do a research paper on it. I will write the theme of the story or write about the author's style on writing the book. Using literary devices will help you. If you don't know what does that mean, search it on Google and you will be familiar with it.
