Picture attached I have no idea how to prove this but I know that they are congruent to each other!

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

well the triangles aren't congruent, they are similar. to prove it is a really simple way Triangle BAC and Triangle DFE angle B = angle D (Corresponding angles in parallel lines AB//DF) angle C = angle E (Corresponding angles in parallel lines AC//FE) therefore similar by Angle Angle postulate

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@campbell_st so line AB is congruent to line DF?

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

its similar.... the tirangles aren't identical.... only similar... there is a scaling factor between AB and DF

OpenStudy (anonymous):

alright. thank you!
