What was the point of the derivative?  Does it have any special property?  How about when it is zero (0)?

You might want to reconsider your derivative.

...or don't reconsider the derivative if you have written the original expression correctly.  Of course, if you intended to have "x + 250" in the numerator, then you should reconsider it.  I'm guessing that leading 'x' is NOT in the numerator, as you have written it.
