Software is made by people who code it so I do not understand the question.

Clarification: Do you think software will replace coding and not coders? Most people use MATLAB or other software, instead of performing calculations by hand or memory.
OpenStudy (konradzuse):
The idea that computers could self write programs is possible, but I do not see it currently. IT requires us to be able to program something that thinks for itself.
OpenStudy (anonymous):
MatLab is used for statistics,maps, scientific calculations etc, just like excel, this has nothing to do with replacing software.
