Do you think that software will completely replace coding?

Question

Software is made by people who code it so I do not understand the question.

Clarification: Do you think software will replace coding and not coders? Most people use MATLAB or other software, instead of performing calculations by hand or memory.

konradzuse · Answer

The idea that computers could self write programs is possible, but I do not see it currently. IT requires us to be able to program something that thinks for itself.

MatLab is used for statistics, maps, scientific calculations etc, just like excel, this has nothing to do with replacing software.
