What is a cold sore(is it herpies or something else) where does it com from(people you have sex with your mom/ dad etc) and why do people get it (sex desies etc? thanks for any help?

Cold sores are caused by a virus from the herpes family, yes. 

It's called the...Herpes Simplex Virus 1. 

This form of herpes spreads with saliva. 
Like if you kiss someone, 
or share a drink with someone. 

It's nothing to worry about, really. 
Because by the time we're adults, there's a 97% chance that we already have this virus, in our bodies.
