Part 1: Solve the inequality -5x + 8 <= x - 4 and show all of your work. You can use <= to represent the less than or equal to symbol. Part 2: Use complete sentences to describe the graph of the solution from Part 1. Be sure to include the type of circle and which direction the shading will be.

okay well lets see...we want to solve for x -5x + 8 <= x - 4 subtract 8 from both sides -5x <= x -12 subtract x from both sides -6x <= -12 divide both sides by -6 ***********remember when multiplying or dividing by a negative number you switch the direction of the sign**** so x >= 2 so part 2 since it is >= ..(has an = sign) it would be a closed dot....an open dot would be just >) so a closed dot at 2....and shading everything to the right of it..(because those numbers are greater than 2 right?)
