In the problem -1(x^2-9) when I do -1*x^2=-x^2,and than -1*9 is that a -9 or just 9?

-1 times -9 would be 9 :) you do worry about the - sign....if you dont heres what it looks like -1x² - (-9) as we know....a - minus a -...just turns both signs into + right? so it would be -1x² + 9 same thing :)
