Okay last one! Solve for x: x - 2 > 2x + 12

OpenStudy (anonymous):

x<-7 i think

OpenStudy (anonymous):

99.9% sure

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I got x < 14

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i redid it and got -14>x :p

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yep -14>x is the answer!

Been a long time since I've solved on of these; so, I'm not sure, but I'll try. x-2 > 2x+12 First move the x on the left to the right -> -2> x+12 Move the -2 to the right side and set the left side to 0: 0>x+14 Subtract the 14 from both sides: -14>x

@**kass** -- You beat me, but it's nice to know that my answer was right, too! XD
