what's the conversion from degrees to radians, and vice versa?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

from degrees to radians: multiply by \(\pi\) divide by \(180\) so for example \(120\) degrees converts to \(\frac{120\pi}{180}=\frac{2\pi}{3}\)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

to go the other way, multiply by \(180\) and divide by \(\pi\) so for example \(\frac{\pi}{4}\) converts to \(\frac{\pi}{4}\times \frac{180}{\pi}=45\)
