To stay warm the blood vessels would constrict, therefore less exposure to the cold, on a hot day they would dilate in the attempt to quickly release heat, once the ambient temp. exceeds the body temp. it becomes even more important to remain hydrated, and if working outside, take frequent breaks to prevent heat exhaustion, and heatstroke. the skin regulates its temperature on a hot day by sweating. it helps cool your body down when you are hot. I have a younger cousin whose sweat glands do not work therefor he can not be out in the hot weather very long because he can overheat, and pass out.
