2. Based on the parent’s genotype for earlobes, can you eliminate any of the people claiming to be the heir? Explain why or why not. (3 pts)

3. The father has a genotype of Dd. What is his phenotype? (3 pts)

4. Both parents have dimples. What are their possible genotypes? (3 pts)

5. If a claimant has a genotype of Ww, can they be a possible heir? Explain why or why not. (3 pts)

(Remember this:
lower case = recessive allele
UPPER CASE = dominant allele)
1-attached earlobes= aa genotype
2-This feature does eliminates a person because the child will too have the attached earlobes since both parents have the aa genotype.
3-has only one dimple
4-DD/Dd(DD= dimples on both sides)
5-That person could not be the heir since both the parents had the ww genotype.(ww=without widows peak, WW/Ww=with widows peak )
