Which relationship could be represented by a graph with a positive slope? x is cook time remaining for a pizza, y is total cook time x is child height, y is parent height x is number of purchases made, y is balance in a bank account x is time spent studying for a test, y is test score

zepdrix (zepdrix):

So we want a relationship that shows as \(\large x\) increases, \(\large y\) will increase as well. \(\large x\) is time spent studying. If you study longer (x increases), should \(\large y\), your test score, increase also? Yes, right? :) At least that's the hope. How bout the third one. As you make more purchases (x increases), your money in the bank will decrease (y decreases). So that one is no good. Hmm

OpenStudy (faman39):

So it is D?

OpenStudy (faman39):

positive

zepdrix (zepdrix):

Can it only be one of the options? If so, then yes it's D. I was just looking at A and B a sec. They're a little strange. :P

OpenStudy (faman39):

Lol, thank you so much :) ur terrifically awesome, thanks alot !
