i downloaded the modules for this course how ever when doing some of the practice problems for state machines : im not able to do the following statement

import 601.sm as sm

i get an error that says unabel to find module sm

im currentl using mac osx and running python 2.7 , i noticed this class uses pytonn 2.6 , will i have to go to an older version of python for this to work ??

I would use 2.6.6 just to be safe. All the links are provided at the website. I don't know what 601.sm is and I just installed the whole package.

I don't know Python yet or how to use 'import' keyword, but I think you used it wrong. You're supposed to use it as:
import sm
