What is true about the complex number -5 + 5i? More than one can apply. A. The modulus is 10. B. It lies in quadrant 4. C. It lies in quadrant 2. D. The modulus is 5 sqrt 2.

OpenStudy (zale101):

It's going to be quadrant 2, C. Because the x-axis being the reals and the y-axis being the imaginary part, so the -5=x-axis and 5=y axis lies on the quadrant 2. Did that makes sense to u?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yeah :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What about the modulus?

OpenStudy (zale101):

It can't be the Modulus, it means the absolute value or you can say the magnitude. The modulus is actually 5√2.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So C and D. thank you :)

OpenStudy (zale101):
