OpenStudy (softballgirl372015):
:) Did this help?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
but which one is it
OpenStudy (softballgirl372015):

its -7
OpenStudy (softballgirl372015):
okay. so 2 an extraneous solution.
OpenStudy (softballgirl372015):
you should still include that in your answer.
OpenStudy (softballgirl372015):
i just checked again and 2 works out as well.
OpenStudy (anonymous):
its an online test i got it right

OpenStudy (softballgirl372015):
thanks for fanning me!!!
OpenStudy (anonymous):
np and thats cool
OpenStudy (softballgirl372015):
yea. it is also kinda hard. i would just say to really remember and understnad everything that you are doing this year in alg1 bucause it all comes back to you in alg2 just a little harder. lol. can you figure out this problem? i was thinking to complete the square. do you think you can anwer it? whats the value of y in:3y^2-6y+2=0
OpenStudy (anonymous):
nope sorry never learned that yet but do you know how to answer
x=18x + 40 over
2(x + 10)

OpenStudy (tkhunny):
I'm not sure I've seen a problem statement.
OpenStudy (softballgirl372015):
?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
?
OpenStudy (softballgirl372015):
wild you know what a problme statemnent is?

okay same! lol
OpenStudy (tkhunny):
"x = 18x + 28 (over)2(x + 14)" This doesn't mean anything. It's just an equation. Are we supposed to do something? Are there any instructions? A problem statement of some sort. Waht is to be done?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
oh solve for x
OpenStudy (softballgirl372015):
sorry about the confusion tkhunny. i didnt mean to be rude

That, along with the equation, is a Problem Statement.
\(x = \dfrac{18x+28}{2(x+14)}\)
Absolutely first, write down \(x \ne -14\). You tell me why.
