could someone help me its absolute value of equations? |4x - 2| = 10 x = 3 & x = -3 x = 3 & x = 2 x = 3 & x = -2 x = 2 & x = -2

I see what she did and that makes perfect sense. What you are trying to do is set the numbers equal. So, for x=3 plug 3 in for x and you should get 4(3)-2 which is equal to 10 which means that number works. Now try negative 2 to see if you get the same thing. If so, that is your answer. Hope that helps!!! :)
