The ratio of roosters to chickens is 2 to 8. If there are 5 roosters, how many chickens are there? Complete the ratio table to solve. Roosters 2 1 5 Chickens 8 I need help ! PLEASE !

zepdrix (zepdrix):

Hmm it looks like there are 4 times as many chickens as roosters If there are \(\large 2\) Roosters, then there are \(\large 2\times4\) Chickens. If there are \(\large 5\) Roosters, then there will be \(\large 5\times4\) Chickens. Understand how that works? How about if there is only \(\large 1\) Rooster? :D

OpenStudy (mackenzie2013):

So , basically you just multiply how many roosters there are by 4 . Thanks !

pooja195 (pooja195):

Roosters : Chickens =2:8=1:4 now , for 1Roosters, we have 4 Chickens therefore, for 5Roosters, we have 4*5=20Chickens
