ABC has coordinates of A(–5, –7), B(6, –3), and C(2, 7). Find the coordinates of its image after a dilation centered at the origin with a scale factor of 2. (A)A(–5, –7), B(6, –3), C(2, 7) (B)A(–2.5, –3.5), B(3, –1.5), C(1, 3.5) (C)A(–10, –14), B(12, –6), C(4, 14) (D)A(–10, –7), B(12, –3), C(4, 7)

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

You are simply doubling each coordinate

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

So A(-5,-7) becomes A ' (-10, -14) because you would double -5 to get -5*2 = -10 and double -7 to get -7*2 = -14

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

you do the same for each of the remaining points B and C

ooo ok thank you so much @jim_thompson5910
