I just need my questions checked

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Find the area of a trapezoid in which base1 is 4 units, base2 is 2 units, and the height is 2 units.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I ended up with 6 but i dont know if its just 6 or 6 squared

OpenStudy (mertsj):

Add the two bases. That will be 4 + 2 or 6. Multiply by the height. That will be 12. Divide the answer by 2. That will be 6 so yes, you are correct. Good job. Don't forget your units.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah i know but would it be 6 squared?

OpenStudy (mertsj):

It would be 6 units squared.

Thank you!
