ask yourself...what do ALL these terms have in common? are they all divisible by a number? if so...you can "factor out" these similar things in this case...each number is divisible by 3 right? 12z^4-21z^3-45z^2 so 3(4z^4 - 7z^3 -15z^2) now each one has at least 1 z^2 in it correct? so 3z^2(4z^2 - 7z -15) now you can simplify more...i'll leave that to you :)

well that isn't your full answer... we have 3z^2(4z^2 - 7z -15) (4z^2 - 7z -15) looks like it can be factored right? (4z +5)(z-3) 4z² - 12z +5z - 15 4z² - 7z - 15 right so our final answer would be 3z²(4z+5)(z-3) i believe...that is as far as i think it will simplify
