to make it bigger you type \ Huge without hte space in front of \color

so \ (\Huge \color{blue}{snuggies~~are~~awesome!!}\) now if you take away the space before the first backslash it looks like this 
 $\Huge \color{blue}{snuggies~~are~~awesome!!}$
