Can someone explain why -1 1/5 is a rational number but not an integer

OpenStudy (precal):

http://www.amathsdictionaryforkids.com/dictionary.html integer is a whole number

If we rewrote -1 1/5 as -6/5, we see that it can be written as a ratio (and if we forced our calculator to resolve it in decimal form we would see -1.2) but not a whole number like precal mentioned. If we took something else, like 6/3, it could not only be written as a ratio, but it would also simplify (after we did the division) to a while number (2).
