I'm gonna guess it's 26.7 by the looks of the length of the side. JUST A GUESS :)

OpenStudy (goformit100):

It will also be solve using the earlier technique, used by you. Madam First you try Please

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Hmm... ok, give me a minute :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@goformit100 Well, by adding the sides with common angles (90 degrees) I'm getting up to the 26...

OpenStudy (goformit100):

You got it correct.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The 26.7?

OpenStudy (goformit100):

Yes its correct.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I got 9.6. I guess that means I probably need a geometry review.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Ajk I just turned it in... YOU WERE RIGHT!!!! D:

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh, nice! Are you curious how I arrived at it, or do you already get it?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

If you would like to explain, you are welcome to! In case I need it again. But if you don't feel like it, it's fine! :)

I set up similar triangles with hyp 16 and 10. Then used 6 for the side of the smaller triangle. It looked like this: h/16 = 6/10 I then just cross multiplied to get 10h = 96. Divide by 10 to get h = 9.6. Glad I could help.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sweet, that bumped me up to "Lifesaver"

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh! That makes since! Like for real, "Regular people" can teach you better the the freaking teachers!! lol NP!!! :) Thank you!!! So much!
